Why are people scared of M2s?

Everytime I queue into an M2 first thing that happens is they vote to abandon like they didn't just wait 30 minutes to get in. I can tank so the queue isn't really an issue for me most of the time...what happened to people ever wanting to be pushed and have fun being challenged. Seems like so many want stuff handed to them now. It's crazy!
